In the summer months when it comes to summer makeup, less means more. When it comes to applying your makeup in a hot humid summer day, you need to go light. Meaning less coverage and less color and using waterproof products. Many women prefer to wear the same type of makeup year round unaware that with climate changes our skin reacts differently. This is the time to change our makeup. Start using a tinted moisturizer but first it is crucial you use an SPF15 or more. Apply the sunscreen on clean face before applying a light tinted moisturizer. Avoid powders as they tend to cake up unless you choose one with silicone(as silicone surrounds the pigments letting them to float on the skin without clumping. Use a waterproof mascara with silicone which makes it water resistant and long lasting especially if you want to wear it at the beach. Lips in the summer months need special care too. Fill in your lips with a pencil close to your own natural color. It provides a great base and keeps lip color in place. Whatever look you decide to have for the summer, keep it simple and natural.
