Prep your Skin
Prepare your skin for makeup application by cleaning your face with the right cleanser, tone and apply your spf 20 and above that will act as your daily moisturizer. In the evening you will clean your face from all makeup trace and apply your night cream. If younger skin you can use light moisturizer that is the appropriate one for your skin type.
Eyelash Curler
It gives the eyes an instant lift, make them look wide awake.
Foundation
Of all the makeup items a client may purchase in her search for beauty, is to purchase the right foundation. They are cream, liquid, wet & dry, powder, cream-to-powder, stick, mousse, cake, or tinted moisturizer.
The finish of the foundation can be matte, or satin to a sheer, medium, or full coverage.
To find the right color that is right for you, do a test on the jawline. Place the stripes vertically along your jawline. I have seen many women test their foundation on their wrists. That is a mistake because the color of our hand is never the same with our face. The best color match is the one that dissapears on the skin.
Concealer
Concealer is used to tone down skin pigmentation, cover dark circles under the eyes, conceal a blemish and tone down a ruddy complexion. The best way to apply concealer is to use concealer brush.
When choosing a concealer, look for a shade lighter than your skin tone.
Blush
For olive skin, try plums and peaches. Blonds will look good in pink and lilac.
Eyes
Highlight the entire area with concealer it brightens up the eyes and will make you look radiant. Champagne pink shadow brings light to the eyes. Apply it on the crease to give intensity. You can experiment with different colors like purples and lilacs according to your skin and hair coloring.
Lips
Use a lip pencil in natural color to line your lips. then fill lips with a lipstick that compliments your skin color. Take a thin tissue place over your lips take a brush and dust powder over the entire mouth. Repeat two more times, then apply lip gloss. This will help your lipstick remain for the longest time.
MAKEUP TIPS FOR THE MATURE WOMAN

Beauty Tips for Brides
Using a primer is a good idea because it will make your skin look flawless and it will help your foundation last longer.
When it comes to foundation, try to match it as close as possible to your own natural complexion. Try to test the color near the jaw line. Make sure you have a facial ten days before the wedding this way your skin will have a glow.
Use concealer for a brighter well rested face. Not only will it get rid of dark circles but if you apply on the eyelids, the eyeshadow will last longer.
Apply natural earth tone eyeshadows on your eyelids like beige color on the eyelids and contour with a soft brown in the crease or if you want to go with a dramatic look create a soft smoky eye, eyeliner and finish it off with a waterproof mascare.
Apply a bronzer all over the face to give a sun kissed glow to your face but make sure it doesn't look orange.
When it comes to contouring apply a two shades darker bronze powder or cream on the sides of your nose, under the apples of your cheeks to create an illusion of slimmer face. Then highlight with a lighter blush above the darker shade and blend well so it will look natural.
Prepare your lips and make them look luscious for your wedding day. First exfoliate to get rid of dry patches and then apply a lip conditioner. Choose a lip liner that compliments your skin tone and fill in the entire lip then go over it with a similar color of lipstick or lipstain finish off with a minimum lipgloss over it.
If you have oily skin the day of the wedding you can use oil absorbing paper.
